PROTECTED REPORTING PROCEDURE IN OKTA AD-SKOPJE

OKTA AD - Skopje, as a socially responsible company dedicated to achieving a high level of compliance with legislation and a supporter in the fight against all forms of illegal, impermissible and unethical behavior, is an active promoter of the protected reporting process that protects the public interest.
Through this portal, we want to share more information that would be useful to all persons who could come forward as " Whistleblowers".

WHAT is Whistleblower?
A person who, in good faith, makes a protected report pursuant to law, anonymously or confidentially, and based on a reasonable suspicion at the time of the report that the information contained in the report is true.

WHO can act as a Whistleblower?
A person who has knowledge or reasonable suspicion of an action that is illegal, impermissible or unethical and with which the Company or its employees are directly or indirectly involved or affected.

HOW the reporting in the Company can be done?
Registration can be done anonymously or confidentially by specifying your personal data, in the following ways:
by filling out the Report and submitting it by e-mail or in hard copy  to the Company's address, addressed to the Authorized Person for receiving reports from whistleblowers
by sending an e-mail to the Authorized Person for receiving reports from whistleblowers.
personally, in the premises of the Authorized Person for receiving reports from whistleblowers.

*After the reporting, you will receive a response no later than within 15 days about the procedure carried out by which your report is investigated.


WHAT can be reported?
By using this portal, you can report knowledge, information or indications of irregularities or illegal actions in the field of competition, corruption and money laundering, cases of conflict of interest, insider trading, health, safety and protection, discrimination and harassment, protection the environment, illegal use of alcohol and other illegal substances, social responsibility, financial operations, property protection or any action that is against the law or deviates from the norms of correct and ethical behavior.

PROTECTION is guaranteed according to the Law!

All Whistleblowers should be informed that protection is guaranteed according to the Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers.  The protection also applies to their close persons.
*The Whistleblower cannot be held responsible, sanctioned, terminated, suspended or reassigned to another less favorable workplace, discriminated against, or suffer any adverse effect due to the report of someone's illegality, unethical or illegal action.

YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT:

The internal investigation is carried out by the Authorized Person who receives the application. Due to the need to carry out a detailed internal investigation, depending on the need, your identity may be fully or partially disclosed to the employees participating in the investigation. Those persons have signed a Declaration of confidentiality of information obtained through the whistleblower procedure and are obliged to protect and keep your identity secret.
Not allowing your identity to be revealed to certain people can contribute to limiting and reducing the quality of the investigation. 
If you report anonymously, there is a possibility that we may not provide feedback on the outcome of the internal procedure due to a lack of your data.
If the reported event results in court proceedings, there is a possibility of revealing your identity in court proceedings.
If the information you provide in the Report is false and incorrect and it is obvious that you were aware of it at the time you reported, you lose the right to protection according to the law.
Your personal data will be processed only for the purpose for which you report it in accordance with the Personal Data protection Law.


By establishing the protected reporting process, the Company's goal is to ensure a complete, objective and efficient resolution of reported cases.

We encourage you to use this secure reporting process so that we as a Company can appropriately intervene, prevent, sanction and take preventive action.
