OKTA announces new call for postgraduate scholarships in the country and abroad
Skopje, 30.03.2026 - For the eighth consecutive year, the company announces a call for scholarships for postgraduate studies for the academic year 2026/2027, in the country or abroad. The call is extended in regard of the academic fields and the possibility of partially covering living expenses in accordance with pre-determined criteria. OKTA AD – Skopje continues its long-term commitment to supporting the education and development of young professionals.
Within the framework of the Scholarship Program, OKTA AD – Skopje, a member of HELLENiQ ENERGY, will award two scholarships again this year for full-time postgraduate studies, with a maximum duration of two years. One scholarship is intended for studies abroad, with the possibility of applying to universities across Europe, North America and Australia, while the second scholarship refers to studies in the Republic of North Macedonia.

This year, the opportunity to apply has been expanded to candidates from a more diverse range of academic fields. The first is engineering and energy, which includes energy transformation, renewable sources, alternative technologies, advanced energy materials for energy production and storage, as well as petroleum engineering. The second area is digital transformation, which includes programming, networks and communications, data analysis for artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and intelligent automation. The third area is the environmental sector, which studies climate change, ecosystems, sustainable development, smart cities and local development. And the fourth area is economics and management, which includes energy economics, bioeconomy and circular economy, energy networks and energy geopolitics, energy project management, marketing, communications and public relations, legal studies and human resource management. Candidates can apply for only one of these fields of studies. In addition, the possibility of covering part of the living expenses in accordance with pre-determined criteria is also opened.
Applications are submitted exclusively online, through the platform: https://scholarships.helleniqenergy.gr/rnm, where all information and criteria related to the postgraduate Scholarship Program can be found. The deadline for submitting applications is May 18, 2026.
The scholarships program is part of OKTA's corporate responsibility strategy, within which supporting education is one of the key priorities and is implemented as part of the Group’s broader commitment to empowering youth and supporting postgraduate studies across the countries where it operates. In the period from 2017 to 2025, the company has awarded a total of 44 scholarships for postgraduate studies, 43 of which are national and one is international, thus directly contributing to the development of highly educated personnel in the country and beyond.
