OKTA brought pre-New Year’s joy for the children from Zlatan Sremec, Idnina and St. Naum Ohridski

(Skopje, 28.12.2015) – Again this New Year OKTA brought joy to the children from the schools Zlatan Sremec, Idnina and St. Naum Ohridski. As part of the New Year’s surprise that the company traditionally organizes for the children with special needs, Santa Clause delivered the New Year’s presents.

“Nine years in a row OKTA organizes pre-New Year’s surprises for children with special needs from these schools. Considering the joy and the excitement we encounter every year, it was inevitable that this donation will become our tradition. As a responsible partner of the community, we believe that all children deserve to receive special attention and to feel the magic of New Year’s Holidays. We are very happy that once again we succeeded to bring smile on their faces”, stated Marija Stavreva, Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications in OKTA.

Apart from the donation, OKTA also organized a pre-New Year’s party for the children on which were present the famous pop singers, Rennata Kralevska and Viktor Apostolovski. The three schools have around 400 children with special needs. The employees in these institutions say that the children expect this kind of visits with eagerness and joy. Stressing out their appreciation for OKTA’s humanitarian gesture, they encourage also other companies to follow the example.
